Yet another trial highlights the post–Good Friday appeasement to SF/PIRA: terrorists were pardoned or freed, while British soldiers still wait for a knock on the door. How is that fair? It reeks of two-tier justice. Mot holding my breath for a provo in the dock.

Used to be accepted that if your country was attacked you would defend it. Now like much else this is seen as optional. A reversal of previous wars where the young bore the brunt. Remember that old poster "What if they threw a war & nobody came?"
