Wish we could think seriously about the authors suggestion of an A/A-/Pass/Fail model, which is effectively the med school grading scheme.

Favorite line from the article:.“Orville Wright died of a heart attack in January 1948. He had seen plane speeds go from 6.8 miles per hour on his first flight to 662 mph in 1947, when Air Force Capt. Chuck Yeager broke the sound barrier.”.

Never knew Orville Wright had to fight his whole life (on behalf of he and his brother) for the Smithsonian to recognize they invented the airplane.

And here's another movie from our @MBoCjournal paper. This time the optogenetic oligomerization was triggered in interphase cells.

Punchline: optogentically oligomerized KNL1 recruits PP1 to microtubules in mitosis. KNL1 oligomers can bind microtubules and PP1 simultaneously. The Cry2 oligomerization tag - developed in the Schaffer lab @UCBerkeley and used in @brangwynnelab OptoDroplet assay - is powerful!.
