This risk was obvious when @laworfiction and I acted for parents resisting the recommendation for older children to have this vaccine, against advice from the JCVI that the precautionary principle suggested they should not. @CMO_England overruled them. He should face consequences.

It’s clearly impossible for the Terminally Ill Adults Bill to proceed in the face of this level of medical opposition. Would MPs have voted for it at 3rd Reading if they had known this? I doubt it.

Nearly 10 years after Brexit and it appears many MPs still don't understand the differences between Custom Unions & Free Trade Areas. 1) The core part of the EU was a CU & the SM (EU regulation). 2) Joining a CU without joining the SM wont create open borders. 3) Join the CU and

We are hearing credible reports, supported by amendments tabled by the Bill sponsor, that the proposed £275 million NHS assisted suicide service will be contracted-out, very likely to the lobbyist organisation pushing for the assisted suicide Bill. Follow the money.

This is extraordinary from the Covid inquiry. No modelling “established” that 23,000 lives would be saved if lockdown had happened a week earlier - that was a notorious and debunked Ferguson claim…

There is a lot of misinformation about AI. There are so many factors in design and use of compute facilities that can be tuned for environmental and practical efficiency, including low water use. Progress will continue apace in these areas.

This is the single most massive factual error in a major book I've ever personally noticed on my own, and I think I'm the first person to notice it? Empire of AI asserts that a data center is using 1000x as much water as a city. In reality, it's 22% of the city's water.
