For anyone worried today about #colloidcysts after @ThisisDavina underwent surgery, here’s some info They are quite uncommon, often found by chance (incidental) They are benign cysts rather than tumours Most do not cause symptoms, don’t grow and never require surgery (some do!)

Thank you to @NHSEngland FOI team for this information on the total number of unique applicants for CT1/ST1 training this year. 26,036 doctors applied for 9,331 posts - overall competition ratio 2.79:1. There is no shortage of doctors. We just don't want to train them.
