I’ve already started! Today I visited St Paul’s Gardens to have a look at the lowered curbs, or lack of I should say!
Members of our community in wheelchairs are struggling to get about town, I’m working to make our town welcoming for everyone.
Last week you voted for a better County Durham.
Your newly elected Conservative councillors are already getting to work to deliver for you. Thank you for your support.
I'm thrilled for you
@DehennaDavison
! I know you will do a fantastic job at championing the areas of the country that need to be at the front and centre of levelling up.
Best of luck.

It’s been a busy weekend speaking to people in Willington and Hunwick about the use of off road bikes and antisocial behaviour.
@rob4pcc

County Durham voted overwhelmingly for Brexit. And one of the top reasons was to control our borders.
While the Conservatives are working to curb illegal migration, Labour have voted over 60 times against our measures.
Labour claim Rwanda isn’t safe for illegal migrants, but…
WELL DONE LUKE!
Everyone at Bishop Trains & the Stockton & Darlington Railway Youth Team are extremely proud of the achievement of our valued colleague & friend, Luke Allan Holmes, following his success in the local council elections to become a County Councillor for Spennymoor.
🚨 On Thursday 2nd May, vote ROBERT POTTS for MORE POLICE and SAFER STREETS. 🚨
🗣️ I’ve been out speaking to residents in Willington. The top two issues coming up on doorsteps are crime and antisocial behaviour.
Labour’s PCC 🥀 thinks planting flowers is the answer 🤔

One of many powerful and inspiring speeches for today’s IWD debate in Parliament.
Did you know you’re the first MP ever to mention Captain Marvel? 🦸🏼♀️
Like every year, colleagues from across the house delivered passionate and compelling speeches today during the International Women’s Day debate.
I was honoured to join this year’s debate. Here is what I had to say 👇🏻
Most politicians I speak to, councillors and MPs, experience significant abuse and intimidation and the intensification of these harmful behaviours are unacceptable and represent a real risk to democracy at all levels. It must stop.

I’m incredibly proud of my amazing partner for speaking out about her eating disorder 💙
I’m a proud supporter of the campaign to raise awareness of eating disorders and will continue to highlight the impact it can have on people’s lives at every possible opportunity.
I have suffered from an eating disorder since I was 13, I’m still suffering at the age of 20.
Eating disorders are never discussed and people are made to feel ashamed for having one, this needs to end now.
We need to stop shaming and start talking💙

Let us know what you think this money should be spent on:
This is absolutely disgusting!
Dehenna is a fantastic MP and doesn’t deserve the constant vile treatment. This culture of attacking our politicians needs to stop.
It was a pleasure to welcome Cllr Mark Wilkes, Cabinet Member for Neighbourhoods, to Spennymoor today for a walkabout with our local neighbourhood warden and Police Community Support Officers.
I’m committed to improving our community for residents.
Cllr Beaty Bainbridge, Chairman of Durham County Council, passed away this morning, and I join colleagues in offering my deepest sympathy to her family.
Beaty served the people of County Durham with tremendous enthusiasm, and she will be truly missed.
Rest in peace, Beaty X
I am extremely saddened to hear that His Royal Highness, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh has passed away.
I send my condolences to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, the whole Royal Family, and the whole nation, at this incredibly sad time.
Today, on Small Business Saturday, I’m popping in to see our local high street businesses. 🛍️
We need to make sure our high streets are more resilient. And we need to boost our local economy. So let’s see how many Christmas gifts you can buy locally. 🎁
