Further betrayal by the Labour Party. Instead of fixing the asylum system, they continue to offload the costs onto local councils. Hillingdon residents now face the intolerable burden of footing the bill for Labour’s failures. Local taxpayers deserve better.
"We will be ending the use of hotels to house asylum seekers.". Chancellor @RachelReevesMP says that this will happen by the ‘end of this parliament', which is due to finish by 2029. She adds this 'will save the taxpayer £1bn a year’.
