It's not genocide. One way to tell is the daily death count of Palestinians is decreasing. If it was genocide the daily death count would be steady or increasing.
It is a horrible humanitarian situation. It is not a genocide based on the legal and standard definition.

The Palestinian protests started October 7th before any Israeli response. Many of the protests were simply in favour of the original attack.
These protests did try to rationalize terrorism and support the murder of Jews.
