In a single generation, UK energy prices have tripled, industries have collapsed or moved overseas, per capita GDP has stagnated, and three different parties of government have hosed £billions each and every year at this parasitic non-industry at our expense.
In a single generation, the UK has gone from having two offshore wind turbines to having just under 3,000. The industry now has a total generating capacity of 16.1 gigawatts (GW), which is enough to power more than 16 million homes each year, and over 600 million fully decorated

Astonishing. Badenoch live now getting into the details of Welfare. She gives an example of Hackney.. “ In Hackney alone 1.000 families on benefits with 5 or 6 children stand to gain £74 million pounds from the lifting of the two child benefit CAP - some of those families will

Further evidence that wind is not cheap.
1/ Yesterday, the SNP published a fact-free paper on energy which simply assumed that wind farms produce cheap electricity. Coincidentally, the Beatrice Offshore wind farm (one of Scotland’s largest) published its annual accounts yesterday, which tell us the truth about costs…

You're not very pro free speech if you think saying "vile" things is a crime. But what he said was not "vile", they were subjectively offensive jokes. Which is why it's dangerous to expose subjective words to criminal law. I find everything Ed Miliband says offensive.
‘When I saw this I thought, “we need to defend his free speech”, then I read what he actually said...’ @anna4fes explains why she thinks those defending Joey Barton have got it all wrong.

If you appeal to the goodness of a nation by asking to be granted safety on its shores, and then proceed to commit an act as foul and monstrous as this one, then all goodness must be removed. They are owed nothing. And yes, Muslim MP, look into how Islam would deal with them.
@AdnanHussainMP Far-right language by a Muslim Independent MP- Why send them back Adnan? The book can be thrown at them right here in the country they committed the crime. You're not saying what you think you're saying. Just look at your comments.

Afghan small boat migrants living in taxpayer-funded housing drag child into a park to rape her; lawyers try to block the release of names and footage in case it causes rioting. Perfect illustration of UK instincts: managing "community tensions" as ultimate good.

This Government is handing control of a major lever in our electricity pricing to the EU. With no real advantage for the UK. It's already increased carbon prices considerably and the EU plan to raise it more. They will also add it to fuel. https://t.co/ChifztMQjo

🚨Breaking News🚨 It can now be confirmed that the “two 17 year old boys from Leamington” in this story are actually Afghan boat migrants. A 15 year old girl was “abducted” away from her friends and raped by one of them, as he called his friend & told him to “come quick” and do

Very informative, & just shows how this government is trying to gaslight us into renewables. Personally I think we should go back to mining coal and drilling for gas. Sack all the renewables they're too expensive! Millionaires don't notice the huge hole in their pockets!

You’ve had 25 years and billions upon billions in subsidies. And still you want more. There was a case for subsidy in the early years to get developments off the ground. But if you’re still rattling your begging bowl 25 years later it’s time to stand on your own two feet or
@afneil Because we're still building the infrastructure. As if you didn't know.

I the wake of allegations against Nigel Farage former classmates of Kier Starmer have come forward with their own stories. "He was boring AF at school too. We used to call him spanner, because he couldn't stop telling us his Dad was a tool maker... or stop touching his nuts".
