You do know that before Lafreniere and Kakko, the Rangers hadn’t had a single top 3 pick in 50 years? Meanwhile you see teams like Colorado get praised when they’ve gotten MacKinnon, Landeskog, Makar, Byram, Duchene, etc. through the top 4

Last game was great too. Almost like Trouba had a baby in the second half of a season where we’ve been a top 5 team the entirety of. And dealt with a 3 week long injury he returned early from.
No one talks about how good he was in the first half of the season.
