There’s a lot of evidence that any barrier stops people who need to access primary care is a bad thing and disproportionately affects those in the areas of most deprivation. It’s also unenforceable. Big thumbs down

As someone who has spent years on how to ‘Choose Well’ etc. Changing entrenched behaviours is bloody hard. Great idea but needs a hell of a lot of infrastructure, GPs and public messaging to make happen.
My Labour government will end the 8am scramble for GP appointments.
