The Edu Sec called vital RHSE guidance 'partisan.' It’s not partisan to protect children from age-inappropriate content or safeguard women & girls. It appears Labour have weakened age limits & schools are still waiting for guidance on gender questioning children. Not good enough.

If you want to boost reading, get children off their phones!. This Government is not doing the single most important things it could do to help, which are to ban smartphones at school & get children off social media.
'Yesterday I announced a National Year of Reading in 2026 – a mission not just for schools and libraries, but for all of us, and part of our Plan for Change. Because if we want children to love books, we need to show them that we love books, too.'.
