One thing you see with these lab leak debates is casual onlookers tending to assume there is a little evidence for both sides, and that therefore it’s best to be agnostic. A relatable instinct - but it’s wrong! ALL the evidence is for a natural origin, and there’s a LOT of it.

My view on the origins debate as covered in Farrar's latest book.. Holmes was 80% certain SARS-2 came out of a lab while Andersen was 60%-70% certain.. Andrew and Bob were not far behind (presumably they placed a probability of 50+% on a lab leak, my guess)..
