So people who think that many of us are not virologists and so our comments in the origins questions are not significant. But we are by profession molecular biologists, so we can very well understand what’s going on. Stop under estimating. We r doing it for the truth to come out.

After studying the spike protein of RaTG13, SARS2 and BANAL-52, I noted the following. At the amino-acid level RaTG13 and BANAL-52 are virtually identical, except at the most important part, the RBM, highlighted in brown (438-508). In this region Banal and SARS2 are identical.

If you change the name of a virus so that the original reference attached to its old name won’t be found is not “dubbing”, this is hiding the data. If you wanted to write a balanced article, you could have mentioned how @Rossana38510044 discovered 4991=RaTG13. @sciencecohen.

@BillyBostickson @BahulikarRahul @sciencecohen This proves from the beginning that Shi and now you say Linfa Wang too, released half information, partial truths, which were crucial information in the light of the pandemic which killed millions! And then too, you are so soft on them. You just said, RaTG13 was dubbed later!.

The only closest relative of SARS-CoV2 disclosed to us was RaTG13. The place where it was collected is closed. No investigation of the mine. No in-depth investigation of any of the virology institutes in Wuhan. Many experiments, trials, vaccines were happening in Wuhan.

Because of programmes like Predict, Preempt, men went close to the nature. Sampled bats, brought the samples back, played with the genes, and now blame the pandemic on interaction of humans with Nature! And again billions of dollars going to be spent on the same! Going in circles.

We exactly don’t know how the virus leaked if it leaked. But the coverup to cover this is leaking very fast! Beware so called top experts! The story of a cooked zoonotic origin within 7 days is leaking out!.

The “zoo”notic origin also holds true, as many of the laboratories in Wuhan had their own “zoos” or a huge range of lab animals! We do not what kind of experiments were going on with them! @BillyBostickson isn’t it?.

SARS and MERS didn't progress to pandemic. SARS died after 2003 and MERS only affected 1500 people. What's wrong with SARS-CoV-2? Looks like its over optimized for humans, both pathogenecity wise and transmission wise.

I have tweeted before about this: if spike protein of RaTG13 and Sars2 are compared, the S2 part matches almost 100 percent and so does S1. The dissimilar part is the RBD, the minimal cassette needed for hACE2 to match. And exactly the RBD from so called pangolin cov matches.

@BallouxFrancois The poll looks incorrect. It could be both, a genetically engineered virus which leaked!.

Looking at the kind of data presented in the Worobey preprints, it’s becoming clearer that it was no way a natural virus jumping from an intermediate host.
