Check out our latest Viewpoint article in @NatRevMCB! Experts share insights on how to approach "resolution" in #superresolution #microscopy, answering six frequently asked questions. Spoiler alert: it's more complex than just a simple number!

A nice surprise: @SjoerdStallinga cited my tweet :) Open discussion is the most productive form of scholarly publication. Smart people can tell good ideas even if they're not in fancy journals, and kind people give high-fives even when they don't have to. Thanks, Sjoerd!

@SuperResoluSian @LennartHilbert @barrosolab Can you "coinflip split" the image? Meaning, scale image counts to photoelectrons, then flip a coin for each photoelectron to decide if it belongs in imaginary subexposure 1 or imaginary subexposure 2?

The power of SIM for in situ #singlemolecule imaging! Quantitative 3D #superresolution #fluorescence #microscopy settles a longstanding dispute if #cohesin acts as a monomer in sister chromatid cohesion. Proud to have contributed to this awesome study by @OchsFena et al.

Fantastic work by the Mazza Lab, highlighting the importance of higher-order chromatin organisation to guide the binding of transcription factors! SPT of TFs is so much more impressive when observed in the context of the chromatin landscape!🤩 Well done!!!
