In 2021, Eric Adams was hailed as the “future of the Democratic Party” after it took 8 whole rounds for him to win by less than 1 point. What does that make Zohran Mamdani, if he won in 3 quick rounds by 12?

Today, Members of CAPAC met with @USDOL @ActSecJulieSu, to discuss labor policy matters, including topics concerning AANHPI communities and other Member priorities. CAPAC always enjoys welcoming Acting Secretary Su.

The real muscle behind Trump’s “populist” movement is the moneyed class — wealthy heiresses, tech bros, and crypto kings. They influence policy to favor the rich, and tell voters that immigrants and DEI have caused their economic plight. https://t.co/noYWx6rKyc

My deep appreciation to @milaatmos for her inquisitive questions and insights. An honor to share some post-election thoughts!
The Democratic party continues to ignore AAPI voters in schools despite their increasing power at the ballot box and the necessity to build coalitions with them to win elections. But... why? It's time to get to the bottom of this! 🧵(1/)

Biden was a huge drag on Harris, he himself would have lost by landslide, she deserves credit for making election much closer than it would otherwise have been (which saved Dems downballot). But the big mistake was Harris bearhugging Biden & not saying how she'd be different

I am clear: if Donald Trump presented an existential threat to American democracy before he was elected, he doesn’t stop being that threat because he got elected

UPDATE: The vote on #HR9495 has been moved to 11/21, which means there’s still time to take action! If you haven't already, write to your representatives now urging them to vote NO on HR 9495.

Our communities stand united against racism. Hate against Asian American Pacific Islander communities has risen during the COVID-19 pandemic. Together, we can stop it.
🚨 On 11/20, Congress will vote on H.R. 9495. #HR9495 would give Trump and his admin of loyalists unprecedented power to silence & shut down nonprofits they personally dislike. 📩 Tell your reps to oppose this dangerous, anti-democratic bill now: https://t.co/XvwzIVls5D

I know there were a lot of early takes last week that the Dem base stayed home. But as the votes continue to be counted, we now know that Harris won more votes than Biden in 4 of 7 battlegrounds and ran almost exactly even with him across the 7 states.

This is why the Democratic Party line that Trump was a danger to democracy - which he is! - never cut through to voters, because Biden and top Dems, like much of our liberal media, can't help but continue normalizing Trump. Does this look like a pic of a man who thinks the man

This is unacceptable & dangerous. Democrats, this is your notice: anyone who enables these appointments is complicit in the realization of Project 2025 and the further destruction of our rights and freedoms. We are demanding that you join us in fighting back.
I’m excited by the news that the President-Elect will appoint @RobertKennedyJr to @HHSGov. He helped us defeat vaccine mandates in Colorado in 2019 and will help make America healthy again by shaking up HHS and FDA. I hope he leans into personal choice on vaccines rather than

Yep, that's how white supremacy works. It was never about merit
So, when Biden nominated a Black 4-star general and former CENTCOM commander (Lloyd Austin) as Secretary of Defense, it was DEI. But when Trump nominates a white Fox News host to be Secretary of Defense, it’s meritocracy. https://t.co/lAC6UOigOJ

If media had covered Trump’s plans to end entire government agencies, purge universities, deport Dreamers, and fund the government entirely by tariffs like they covered Biden’s debate performance, we wouldn’t be in this mess.

I've been involved in winning presidential races and races that lost. One common thread is that everyone seems to have a reason why you won or lost which usually reflects a personal perspective or agenda. So here's mine: I think VP Harris ran a very good campaign that operated
