Smaller brands that are lacking traction to start, seemingly also have poor feedback loops with customers. Be consumer-centric always, but more so when starting. Talk to them, email them, set up post-purchase surveys, create a VIP Customers Group (Facebook or elsewhere).

Most advertisers are getting destroyed by Andromeda right now And they have no idea why Here's what's actually happening: Meta rebuilt how their algorithm distributes ads There's a two-step process now: Andromeda sifts through every ad available and picks thousands to hand

Meta has literally said before that "Narratives in your account matter more than audiences" That should terrify every media buyer reading this. The robots handle the targeting. You need to understand humans. But do you? The old way was like this massive team where you'd have

A wise mentor once told me: “Before you play the game, study the winners. If you don’t want their life, don’t play their game.”

There's only really one belief you need to win: Belief in your ability to figure it out. That's it. Start - you'll figure out the rest.

One of the highest-leverage tests you can run going into BFCM is on your offer presentation. Why? Because the same value, framed differently, can completely change how it feels. For example: - “Buy One Get One Free” vs. “50% OFF” → Same deal, totally different psychology.

Carney talks about automatic tax filing. The CRA can barely answer the phone. The CRA gives the wrong answer on personal taxes 83% of the time. And you want to give the CRA more power?

Major cheat code in life: Understanding you can reinvent yourself at any time. New habits, new standards, new friend group, new career, etc. There's no rule that says you have to stay the person you've always been. You're allowed to decide, "I'm done being this version of me."

my father always told me: “if you want to go for a run, go for a run, don’t look for company. sooner or later, on your fifth run or your twentieth, like-minded people will find you themselves.” and only recently have i realized that this principle works everywhere.

The silent killer of high-growth brands? Checkout friction. You spend all this time: - dialing in CAC - running promos - optimizing LTV …and then your checkout page fumbles the bag. I’ve seen it firsthand: Load times over 3 seconds No upsells or order bumps Limited payment
