Deep dissection is critical to achieve a competent aortic valve in David procedure. It can be challenging when the R cor sinus is ventricularized and VAJ is high. This video shows how to perform deep dissection without worry about RVOT injury for perfect David procedure.

Dr. @FordePatrick presents final OS results from CheckMate 816 at #ASCO25. Adding nivolumab to 3 cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapy for resectable NSCLC improves OS with HR 0.72 and 5y OS rate 65% vs 55%. Effect greater in PDL1+ (HR 0.51) than PDL1 negative (HR 0.89).

I'm disappointed that yet again, in a TV segment about health screening for women, #lungcancer screening was left out. Today, it was the @TODAYshow that missed an opportunity to teach women about lung cancer screening. More women die of lung cancer than from any other cancer.

This is a major story from #ASCO25. Randomized phase 3 trial of time of day of immunotherapy infusion. Randomized to infusion before or after 3pm. Early infusion far superior: PFS 11.3 vs 5.7 HR 0.42, OS HR 0.45! Impactful, pragmatic, not costly. This should be a bigger story.
