To be fair to Poilievre I donโt think heโs a bad politician. Had Trump not been a factor Iโm sure heโd have been PM. But his moment has clearly passed.

Iโve said this before, but Iโm amazed the Canadian Tories havenโt dumped Poilievre. Are they really that bereft of an alternative?

This is so good. Just a perfect clip.
Violence has spilt onto King Street after two men were removed from a gentlemenโs club in Melbourne. One of the men threw a chair which appeared to be aimed at security, hitting his friend instead. Get the full story on 7NEWS at 6pm. @paul_dowsley

While Iโm at it Iโm not incredibly keen on the NEC or the Deputy Leader role.

No thatโs unnecessary. We should be able to disagree with each other in the party without resorting to calling someone a traitor.
@KimJohnsonMP thinks we have an unpopular PM. Well, as a Labour member, the one thing that is unpopular is a traitor. She got elected on a manifesto. Yet, with her SCG comrades tries to destabilise her govt. If she likes Corbyn join him. Don't nick a living off Labour #KickOutKim

I backed this party under Miliband, Corbyn (that was fucking bad) and Starmer. Iโll back it under Burnham or Streeting. Because despite any misgivings I have, the party, its values, its 125 year history mean something to me. More than a particular rough time.

Just going to say Iโve been a Labour Party Member for 11 and a half years. I joined at age 14. Iโd have driven myself mad if I threatened to leave every time a decision was made I didnโt like.

Is this Andy Burnhamโs moment? There are several hurdles between the Manchester mayor and Westminster By @PronouncedAlva

In the end no one comes out of this clean. Labour has spent the last few days once again talking to itself and Burnham has in a roundabout way told the people of GM he doesnโt actually want to be Mayor anymore.
