Jenrick could have visited Handsworth to listen to residents – he chose to pass through and judge them based on the colour of their skin. Instead of getting to know our nation of neighbours, he chose racism. The Tories, Reform and Labour want to divide us. The Greens say enough

PFI has been disastrous for our NHS and for patients. Yet the government is planning to reintroduce private finance into our NHS. Take one minute to write to your MP and demand they take action now. @we_ownit

Hey - Reform voters! Last night your party voted against The Employment Rights Bill to ban fire & rehire and zero hours contracts. They voted against you getting sick pay day one, and against you being protected against unfair dismissal from day one. This what you want?

£49.18 is the standard weekly allowance for asylum seekers. It's reduced to £9.95 if meals are included with accommodation. You need a national insurance number to claim benefits or work. Asylum seekers do not have one. No free phone (or Ipads). Occasionally, sims, or recycled

Today, Chancellor Rachel Reeves announced her funding plans for schools through to 2029. And thanks to you -- we won back billions for schools. There's a long way to go. But today, we're celebrating a win for schools.

🎉 We’ve won Free School Meals for 500,000+ more children! This is an incredible breakthrough. But the fight isn’t over — means-testing still leaves far too many behind. We won't rest until we win #FreeSchoolMealsForAll so every primary pupil can get the best start in school.

Disability benefit cuts will push over 250,000 people, including 50,000 children, into poverty. So I asked the Chancellor —who earns over £150,000, accepted £7,500 in free clothes & took freebie tickets to see Sabrina Carpenter— if Austerity 2.0 is the "change" people voted for?

This is deeply worrying & adds to the anxiety caused by the government not publishing an impact assessment study usually undertaken on major policy announcements. This lack of openness & transparency is no way to govern & just leads to more fear & anger amongst everyone affected.

Very cool seeing the @harriepw story for @novaramedia making The Week. Buy-to-lets are now Britain's most common type of business. A historic misallocation of capital, and the number one reason we've had 18 years of zero productivity growth.

The video below shows Labour MP Liz Kendall's @leicesterliz expenses. She claims a lot of benefits. I wonder if her benefits are going to be cut? 🤔 Let's not forget that she lives in a £4 million mansion and earns £91,364 a year in addition to her ministerial income of £67,505.

Liz Kendall has already claimed £6139.18 in expenses for rent, utility bills and council tax since getting into government. In that time, she has been paid an MPs salary of £91,346 a year, PLUS an additional ministerial salary of £67,505. The fucking cheek of it.
