Incredibly sad to hear of the decision to end NHS and Care Volunteer Responders. @stjohnambulance was proud to work in partnership with @RoyalVolService throughout Covid to deliver 1.7 million hours of service to the NHS and communities. Thoughts with RVS and those affected!💚.
It’s with sadness that today we announce a decision to discontinue the NHS and Care Volunteer Responders service in the face of a difficult financial position, as part of the wider context of changes affecting NHS England. (1/2)

A busy couple of days in the constituency. I visited local schools, met with St John Ambulance Cadets 🚑, engaged with local residents, and even had fun making my own Big Mac 🍔. This evening, I’ll be in Daventry, looking forward to meeting more residents at a local pub.
