I grew up in SLC and the Mormon church does a lot of good in the communities. They have an amazing welfare program to help people who need it, of any or no faith. Don't slam what you don't know. BTW, I am not a Mormon but respect much of what they do to help others.

Darling dogs! 15 is a good old age. We recently adopted 2 12 year old hospice dogs who met at the shelter and fell in love. Seniors are the best.

I have volunteered for years in cat rescue. Many cats are relinquished/dumped because the cats have been declawed and it has caused so many problems. Walking on litter hurts and they don't use the box, personality changes, including biting. It does not keep them out of shelters.
