Completely unrelated but here’s a hot take— Bananaball is reshaping defensive development in North America. How? Unlocking athleticism. Promoting creativity. Encouraging adaptability over aesthetics. Putting the ‘fun’ in fundamentals. We’ll see the fruit soon enough.

Shohei Ohtani's avg. primary lead on SB attempts 2018: 10.9 ft 2019: 10.8 ft 2020: 11.9 ft 2021: 10.9 ft 2022: 11.9 ft 2023: 11.4 ft --> 2024: 12.9 ft More aggressive running is how Ohtani got to 50-50 ... But will he steal in the World Series? Story ➡️ https://t.co/LJ9eCh9svE

George Brett on how Charley Lau helped him go from “back leg and falling away” to hitting through the ball, getting his arms extended, and having a weight shift.

Train hit ability and bat to ball skills. Almost everything is power right now in hitting development. Training for more power and bat speed, then losing your ability to actually hit.

Over the past 20 days, I was given the opportunity to play for the Champion City Kings in the Prospect League to gear up for fall ball. Not only this, but I faced D1-D2 and high NAIA hitters. Also met a lot of talented guys on the team with similar goals.
