It's paywalled, so I don't know much about what it says, but the idea of "“mini grants,” which would come from breaking up existing grants" does not sound good! https://t.co/5eXMW3P3Wc via @statnews

Competitive elections are at the foundation of democracy. No one should skip into the state's highest office without a challenge, especially one still growing moss on the bottom rung of almost every ladder. Alabama must do better. We must be better.

Hi everyone, The shutdown has now been extended to Day 36. Congress is sorry for adding even more time to what’s already been a long wait – for families missing meals, average folks trying to afford healthcare, and federal workers wondering when their paychecks will come.

@ZKForTre GLP-1 biology was known but it was exendin-4 from the Gila monster that solved the short-half-life problem and proved GLP-1 agonists could work as drugs. That was the defining step in the field..

What's gross in Alabama continuing to seek Toforest Johnson's execution is the casual disregard to a widely supported innocence claim. The paid witness testimony has FALLEN APART. What should be a 5-alarm fire to fix this is simply status quo indifference.
