Would love to see “All Defensive” or “All Hustle” teams at these travel events instead of a list of kids that leaked out for 8 layups a game and was the leading scorer and “mvp”…or the kids that scores 20 on 6-23 from the field.

Wow. Humbled to even be mentioned on a list like this. Thank you to @JeffreyBendel_ and @CoachGWM2. I did my best to just pay attention for 8 years to one of the best to ever do it in the history of the State in @mgelling4977. I owe him more than I can ever express.

121-16 last 5 yrs w/5 conf titles,B2B state titles, Elite8 & 2 sweet 16’s, players who text u “thank you 4 holding me accountable”.At some point if u have ur kid at 4 schools in 4 yrs,maybe the prob is in the mirror. Sry u r upset that ur money didn’t buy @dubboysbball culture.
Funny to me when parents go out of their way to talk trash about the culture built at Weddington. Just know that if you talk bad about the culture its because you were not cut out for it. If you want to call out our kids for Burning the Ships, I am not hard to find. Molon Labe.

The end is always difficult, tonight especially so. But filled w/ pride + gratitude. Proud of our team/players, for what they represented, how they invested n each other, what they earned. Grateful to coach a group that gave everything it had + for the ride they took all of us on
Not the finish they wanted in overtime in the Sweet 16, but what a season for the Maroon men's basketball team. Roanoke finishes 25-6, the most wins for the program since 1994!
