WHAT. A. GAME! Down 12 early 4Q. Down 10 with 5:35 remaining. The guys NEVER gave in. Kept really competing defensively & executing offensively to defeat Broughton 81-77 in 2OT! Next up is R2 of the @NCHSAA State Tournament. We play at Garner HS at 7PM on Friday, 2/28.🔰

If a high school team can’t consistently get a good FGA in 35 seconds then that team isn’t very good (could argue coach too) in the first place and another 15-30 seconds wouldn’t change that.

Clark’s body language and on court behavior leave A LOT to be desired. It’s bad. The facial expressions & gestures when she doesn’t get the ball or doesn’t like the call are so petulant. It’s rampant across all levels, but she is near the top of the worst offenders.
Why Clark snatching the towel like that from the building staff?. She be crashing out for no reason bro. Yikes 🥶

Very strong list. I’d put Coach Williams at #1 with 1 more national title & 3 more F4s during the 2000s, but Self is obviously incredible & KU has dominated the B12 regular season for a long time.

100%. It will never be perfect, but give me an offense with consistent hard cutting, screening, & great ball movement over 3-4 players holding space at the 3pt line every single time.
Coaches often are concerned about cuts disrupting spacing or congesting the paint. All year, we said we'd rather have too many cutters than four guys standing at the 3-pt line. Once cutting is the habit, we can refine who & when to maximize spacing.

All rationale presented by shot clock detractors (coaches, admin, etc) in HS basketball is insufficient. There is not a single legitimate reason why EVERY state shouldn’t have shot clocks for HS basketball. Phase it in. Raise the money. Get creative. It’s not complicated.
The true shot clock facts. You can buy shot clocks for $2500. We want them for Varsity games at the High School level. That means you need to equip one gym. You'd need to pay 1 person $15-$18 an hour to run it 24 games. Thats $400-$500 dollars a year. @SeanCriderBB.

North Carolina hasn't had a top-five pick in 20 years. There are many variables that led to this, but broadly speaking, that's just a shocking drought for a top-three program in the history of the sport—and a school w/ two nat'l titles and five F4s in that span.
