i think we need to be meaner. i’m tired of tiptoeing. if you voted for him you’re a bad person. people who voted for harris are better than you. they’re smarter than you. if you voted for him you lack empathy, you’re unintelligent, you’re weird, and you’re a bad person. period.

Big news out of Iowa! Iowa has elected its first transgender House of Representatives member, Aime Wichtendahl after winning a tightly contested election. She will join a growing number of trans legislators and will make history in the state of Iowa.

A fair amount of University of Iowa students are showing up to vote today at the Iowa Memorial Union, which was only an early voting site from Oct. 21-23. If you're a UI student looking for your Election Day polling place, click here:
