The way to get costs under control and Iowa back on track is to vote out corrupt politicians who are too deep in the pocket of special interests to care that our hospitals are closing and our schools are falling behind.

I've met with leaders from rural hospitals across the state. They've all said the same thing: Republican cuts to Medicaid in the "Big Beautiful Bill" will make it harder to keep their doors open and will put Iowans' health at risk.

Ashley Hinson knows the Trump tariffs are raising prices on Iowans. So why is she still supporting them?

I'm hearing the same thing all over Iowa: while billionaires and corporations make record profits, costs are skyrocketing for the rest of us. It's time to fix it.

I heard from voters in Union County who are looking for a leader ready to fight back against the chaos coming out of Washington. They want a Senator who will fight for their families struggling to find care for loved ones as rural hospitals cut staff. They need someone willing

I want to thank Jackie Norris for her campaign and for her years of service to our state. Running for office and serving in public life takes tremendous courage and sacrifice, and Jackie’s decision today reflects her deep commitment to public education. I wish her the best as she

Politicians like Joni Ernst and Ashley Hinson are cashing checks from billionaires while Iowans are getting notified their healthcare costs are doubling. That needs to end.

Over half of Iowa's energy comes from wind power. Because of Ashley Hinson's vote to gut clean energy tax credits via the "Big Beautiful Bill," Iowans will see their utilities go up by hundreds of dollars a year and thousands of Iowa workers are at risk of losing their jobs.

Great conversations in Greenfield and Mount Ayr. Small towns like these are one of the special parts of our state and deserve attention and support from leaders in Washington, not empty promises. I’ll always put Iowans first.

The chaos of the Republican shutdown is already having ripple effects here in Iowa. The nurses at UnityPoint have been fighting to unionize for better conditions and to improve patient care. Now the shutdown has put another obstacle in their way.

Thank you, Harlan. A great discussion on how we can do better for our small towns and rural communities. Step one: show up. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

Ashley Hinson has rubber stamped tariffs that are destroying markets for famers and raising costs for Iowans. Whether I'm in Sioux City, Storm Lake, Denison or Des Moines, the number one thing Iowans are telling me is they want someone who will fight back and tackle Washington

Iowa farmers feed and fuel the world. Our state deserves better than out-of-control costs, chaos, and corruption from Washington. My OpEd in the Des Moines Register: https://t.co/MtaKe5SVYJ

U.S. ag policy seems to be, in part, about making a few donors richer, and our representatives do nothing about it, writes Zach Wahls.

Liz Garst comes from a long line of soil conservationists. I joined her for a farm tour in Guthrie County to discuss the steps we can take to improve our water quality and preserve Iowa’s farmland for future generations.

Can’t express enough gratitude to Marshalltown Mayor Joel Greer for his endorsement and his hospitality. It was great to be back in Marshalltown - the first time I’ve been back since my high school swimming days.
