Happy to share @radhikaRMalik from @IcahnMountSinai paper in @NatureSMB. Using #cryoEM of the Rev1-PolZ holocomplex, they reveal the basis of its cooperativity in TLS. They discover the N-helix-BRCT module as a keystone of this coordination. Data was collected at NYSBC.

I'll piggy back on this post to congratulate Professor Hashim Al-Hashimi, who was recently awarded the Guenther Laukien Prize. Hashim is a heavy user of NYSBC's NMR facilities and a great colleague. Congrats, Hashim! @ColumbiaMed @NYSBC_Science
We have received word from @bruker that the 800US#2 AVANCE NEO console upgrade will be delivered 6 weeks early, now scheduled for 08/09/24. This is @NIH funded, 1S10OD034275-01.

A great thing about being the Director of NYSBC is that I get to see fantastic stories like this come from our staff working with users!
1 dataset – 10 structures! Check out the latest preprint by Sonia Bhattacharya from M.G. Finn’s group from @GeorgiaTech. Structural work was done by Matt Jenkins in collaboration with Carolina Hernandez and @MishaKopylov3 from NYSBC https://t.co/Q3xCcjkuaR

Contrary to rumors, my RNA-focused research career did not end when I became the @NYSBC_Science Executive Director. Several members have relocated to NYC and exciting things are afoot here and back at @CUAnschutz. Look for some new papers to drop soon!
