There's a big chunk of Latino Independents undecided about whether they'll back a Democrat or Repbulican in Senate and congressional races, an @NALEO tracking poll shows:

I defied the odds to become a Rhodes Scholar, Army officer & CEO. Now, I'm announcing my run for Maryland Governor. Because I believe no matter our start—we all deserve an equal opportunity to succeed. I'd be humbled by your support→ https://t.co/rX4BO0kIyc #MooreforMaryland

Biden's rhetorical power through his demeanor--very different from both Obama and Trump--is to try to make his ideas come across as calm and common sense. He's using that as he tries to pitch the most specific, expansive agenda in many years of State of the Unions.

Something about Council District 15 and young candidates. Joel Rivera elected at 22. Ritchie Torres elected at 25. And now Oswald Feliz elected at 30. (h/t @NorwoodNews)

Day 2 of Ranked Choice Voting has been concluded, and our lead grew to 259 votes! Humbled by the support we received, and humbled by the possibility that I will be the representative of the community that I’ve always called home! #CD15

Jones was appointed mayor after Fetterman became lieutenant governor in 2019. She is not planning on running for reelection in November. She said she’s never had much of a relationship with Fetterman, who did not ask for her endorsement.

The endorsement could be seen as a knock on a key part of Fetterman’s narrative: his close ties and support for the town he served as mayor for 14 years and where he and his family still live.
