Mitch McConnell’s comments suggesting African Americans aren’t fully American wasn’t a Freudian slip — it was a dog whistle.
The same one he has blown for years.
I wanted to say, “Donald YOU’RE FIRED” after my motion to award Pennsylvania’s electoral votes to PE Biden, but was told I couldn’t.
But this is Twitter, so...
@realDonaldTrump
YOU’RE FIRED!
I for one, am not having a debate with racists about a Black woman being nominated to the US Supreme Court. She will be qualified, she will be experienced, and damn right she will make history.
Tonight the Republican Party lost an entire generation of voters.
We’ve witnessed, in all its naked ugliest, the sins of racism and authoritarianism on full display.
You can’t expel a movement. You can’t silence the cry for justice. You can’t put out the flame of liberty.
If you’re an anonymous “Democrat leader” feeding reporters crap quotes about John Fetterman being replaced on the ticket cut the crap.
It goes without saying, I felt strongly that I should be US Senate nominee and I worked my ass off, but the voters decided and I respect it.
Both of my parents had diabetes.
I watched my mom ration insulin routinely because she had to choose to either cover the rent or get a refill. Because of how much she loved her kids, she chose us.
I buried her when I was 26. Passing BBB isn’t hypothetical to me and so many.
Something special is happening in Pennsylvania.
Democrats won the Governor’s race, US Senate, all 3 swing congressional seats, and are on track to flip the PA state house.
I’ve been saying for months, that if we go everywhere and talk to everyone we can (and DID) win!
🔥🔥 After
@malcolmkenyatta
points out their lies about this abortion rights ban and hypocrisy saying they “want voters to decide” after majority of
@PAHouseGOP
tried to help Trump overturn PA’s election, GOP shuts off his mic then shuts the public from the debate.
#StopPABans
My sexual orientation is not a preference. But ramming through a radical nominee to a lifetime appointment in the middle of an election is — and voters won’t forget it.
I don’t know what will happen in Georgia yet, but to see a black man and a millennial doing this well in a US Senate race says a lot about the hunger in the electorate for a government that reflects the fullness of the American experience.
Today is a historic (BFD) day. Incredibly honored to be one of the 20 electors who will officially award Pennsylvania’s electoral votes to
@JoeBiden
and
@KamalaHarris
— beginning a new chapter in the American story.
@JohnFetterman
will vote to raise the minimum wage — Dr. New Jersey won’t.
JF will vote to codify the freedom to choose — Dr. New Jersey won’t.
JF will vote to ban assault weapons and for background checks — Dr. New Jersey won’t.
The choice is crystal clear.
I’ve seen Joe Biden speak many times, but tonight was different. This speech by
@POTUS
I believe is the most important of his presidency — and he knew it.
Today the DOJ indicted a former Democratic member of Congress for fraud.
I can assure you that Democrats won’t be calling for violence against federal law enforcement in response.
A protester is on scaffolding at the Capitol trying to replace the American flag with a Trump flag. This tells you everything you need to know. I’m sick to my stomach.
I’ll never get over the fact that Sen. Pat Toomey has been MIA for 10 years and now pops up to *checks notes* make it HARDER for Pennsylvanians to get critical financial relief.
I’m not sharing or watching the video of Tyre Nichols having his life stolen. This is how we should remember him — as someone who was loved and who mattered.
He should be alive and the work must never stop to ensure more lives aren’t brutally taken.
Not one House Republican voted for the John Lewis Voting Rights Act.
We currently need 10 Senate Republicans to do so to proceed to a vote there.
OR we can scrap the filibuster and get this bill to President Biden.
As I said at the first debate, John Fetterman is an incredible family man. My prayers are with him and his family as he recovers from this stroke. I look forward to seeing him back on the campaign trail soon.
My family couldn’t always afford the rent so we moved — a lot.
At 12 I got my first job, washing dishes to help pay the bills.
My mom often couldn’t pay for her insulin so she’d ration it.
My story is so common, but it shouldn’t be.
That’s why I’m running for the US Senate.
My mom rationed her insulin her entire life, because it was too expensive. I buried her before my 27th birthday.
President after President talked about lowering the cost of Rx drugs, but
@JoeBiden
got it done.
Pretty cool to have two Presidents, a future Governor, and a future US Senator all holding a massive rally right in the heart of my district.
If North Philly votes, we will win!
‘You might not care, but I care about the people I serve’ — PA State
@RepKenyatta
was booed by his colleague for wanting to protect service workers who are at risk if the state reopens
Budget reconciliation was totally fine when the fat cats wanted to stuff their pockets, but apparently not when working people want to feed their families.
Give me a break.
Republicans forced the Senate clerk to read a 600+ page bill to slow down the delivery of vital relief to working families and then walked out.
A disrespect for working people is a feature, not a bug with these people.
Asking for help isn’t easy. Especially when you’re in public life.
What
@JohnFetterman
did is brave, I wish him and his family the absolute best. I hope it spurs other people to reach out for help.
It’s well past time to end mental health stigmas.
Dr. Oz is a quack who pushes pseudoscience and conspiracies theories. He would be a disastrous Senator.
He lives in New Jersey full time and vacations up Donald Trump butt.
No Democrat — no matter who you supported in the primary can let this guy win.
There's a video out there with Sen. Rand Paul asking transphobic questions to Dr. Levine, a trans woman, who led PA's health department with grace, poise, and authenticity. Please don't share that video. Support

or your local LGBTQ+ organization instead.
BREAKING: WE WON!!!! The
@PAHouseGOP
has pulled their election “intergrity” committee after unprecedented public pressure.
The GOP said “the left & their media allies distorted the image [of the bill]” but the truth is we exposed their scheme!
America does need to heal. That means accountability and justice.
It starts with acknowledging what happened and who is responsible so it can’t happen again.
February 5th of this year my best friend
@drmattkenyatta
became my husband. It was the best day of my life.
Today the US Senate affirmed that our sacred union — made before our pastor and our loved ones be respected under federal law.
Soon
@POTUS
will sign this bill into law.
