The last time I mistakenly took that call, I asked the caller for their name and SS# to prove they were legit. They so craftily said that they were my father. Click
Man it's such a bummer when your phone rings after you've just sent an email to someone you really hope gets back to you, and you don't know the number so you hope it's them, and you pick up excitedly only to find it's a scammer saying your social security # has been compromised.

I was the Spark first. But not sure I have a claim in this fight. @AmberTongPW
Spark Therapeutics, which is now a subsidiary of Roche, has sued bluebird for trademark infringement — through a promotional campaign around its experimental treatment for sickle cell disease where the word “spark” features prominently. https://t.co/OtwnPLNEpQ

When do we think they’ll open up vaccinations to 55+? This group is in limbo.
100 million shots in 100 days will be completed this week instead of April 30th (we're at 97 million administered; tomorrow is 50 days) —Now 1 in 4 adults, 61% ≥ 65 year olds have had at least 1 dose —At current 2.2M/d, would be >210 M shots in 100 days (+ hope we can rev up)

Public companies need to be comfortable building and tapping into a deep tool chest of communications tactics to reach investors. This goes beyond retail. More than just PRs, conference calls and PowerPoints. #investorrelations #IR #communications @NIRI_National @WSJ
The recent surge of small investors into some companies’ stocks is pushing investor relations departments to seek ways of engaging with their new shareholders, @Nina_Trentmann reports for @CFOJournal @WSJ.

Moms cousin finally discharged after 30 days in ICU with Covid. Learning to walk and talk on his own again. That’s one strong hombre. 💪 Can’t #vaccinate fast enough.

another great vaccine story from @helenbranswell. I often hear, I got "the moderna" but that's a perception concern as we move towards vaccinating a general population. https://t.co/ilKLLSWCgC via @statnews

Some Covid-19 vaccines are perceived as "good," and others "bad." That, experts say, is a problem.

Agree with this Right now, demand for vaccines >>> supply of vaccines That will stay true for all of February and much of March But by April, this will begin to change And by May, supply > demand in US By summer? supply >>> demand
@ashishkjha @PeterHotez I think it’s possible that by April, supply could outstrip demand. We should start to focus now on that challenge. By the end of March we’ll have put more than 250M doses into the market, assuming J&J gets authorized. Starting April, we’ll be producing at least 100M doses/month.

But my parents are not concerned with efficacy rates of various #covid vaccines. They want to know what will keep them out of the hospital, what will prevent severe infections and death. The good news is there are now several options that do that. 👍💪

The Pharma industry can be fixated on efficacy endpoints as it should. There is rigor behind science.
