I am immensely proud that the NHS I work in is one of the most multi-ethnic and diverse organisations in the world. NHS colleagues and emergency workers from many countries and faiths work around the clock to serve every UK community. You have my utmost appreciation and respect.
I’m proud that people from nearly 200 countries work in our NHS. I completely condemn this racist violence and stand with our staff and the communities they live and work in. Thank you to our emergency services who are working hard to keep everyone safe.

The NHS is completely BROKEN😢 WASNT broken by COVID/Strikes/inflation (*delete excuse) but by deliberate CHOICES to break it RT if you want this/next government to make CHOICES to properly fund the NHS, #reward staff & provide better healthcare than 👇 for the UK population

Sadly true over here too. Once we start vagifem in secondary care it’s continued in primary care though
I cannot stand by when I am seeing female patients being treated monthly with Cipro for recurrent UTIs, developing resistance, C. diff, needing a PICC line, almost dying, when they could have just been put on vaginal estrogen years ago 🤬

Great to see over 300+ pupils in the @LGS_Senior school run the Tom Ellis Cross Country event on Tuesday. A shortened course due to the weather, but well done Lucy F & Isaac M for finishing 1st. All money raised goes towards @TeenageCancer our Y6-10 will run in the Lent Term!

2/ This crucially important 📉shows - pay erosion in NHS from austerity - uses CPI preferred by gvmnt & some economists - crucially shows 6/12 effect of DDRB 23/24- starting basis for all pay deals (i.e. not a lot)

It doesn’t take 5, I did it in 4 as the first graduate cohort, I had a prior degree and that gives skill at learning. Medicine is an understanding of systems and then about 3rd year the systems become a whole being. Rushing it will not allow that to happen.
I’m putting it out there: I don’t believe it takes 5 years to get a medical degree. And I do believe that you can learn on the job if you already have a clinical role. Doctors should be honest with themselves. Was every minute of your degree spent in learning/working? Was

Extraordinary response with Secretary of State for Health: The NHS workforce can not be safely expanded by this group of associates with only 2 years of training “it comes to standing up to the unions” It’s now nakedly not about patient safety- it’s about breaking unions
The entire UK public needs to watch this. Your health is a pawn to use against doctors and trade unions.

Great fun had by our Spanish exchange students, who visited a Fallas workshop learning all about the most important celebration in Valencia. Xátiva castle was an incredible place to visit too. #lgs_senior #Languages

Last year was the worst NHS winter crisis on record. In January this government pledged they would increase NHS beds by 5000. Since then, the bed numbers have *fallen* by almost 3000 instead 🚨🚨🚨 https://t.co/8nCcdl03vR
