Don’t be scared by the maths. With a typical flu - the avg person infects 1.35 ppl on average. Those 1.35 people give it to 1.35 ppl each, so after two “rounds” I’ve infected 1.8 people. After 10 rounds of transmission, I’ve given it to, about 20 people. 1/2
