Russell Crowe on Gaddafi They killed him because he nationalized the oil & was about to create a currency for all the African countries. He wasn't a puppet for the U.S.

What's disgraceful & reductive is a *Labour* Govt that refuses to lift care workers out of poverty & pay them £15ph. You're the actual Govt yet you refuse to pay care workers what they're worth for the difficult work they do. Stop clutching your pearls, words are cheap
I think someone’s been found out… Such a disgraceful & reductive way to talk about care work & migrant workers. But oh so revealing too…

After WW2, it became illegal to invade another country. It is a major reason the geopolitical world has remained so stable… A country cannot take another by force What Trump, Putin, and Netanyahu are doing is in direct defiance of this. They threaten the peace of all nations

When Jeremy Corbyn was leader he published his full tax return. The press smeared him for missing £thousands. Turned out it was money he gave to charity because he refused to accept a pay rise.

Anyone noticed how UK media is a lot less obsessed with Farage’s alleged antisemitism than Corbyn’s alleged antisemitism? Odd that.

Pay them £16ph then, like the Green Party wants to do. You're the actual Govt. Not using that is incredibly demeaning to all workers
My mum and my sister are carers and they work bloody hard to meet the complex care needs of people day in day out. There's much more we need to do to support carers (and unpaid carers too) but this sort of comment from Polanski demeans an incredibly important profession.

My amazing boyfriend (can you tell I'm proud of him?) lost his father last year. Inspired by the hospice who gave him loving care - he now works in palliative care himself. He's doing a run with all the money going to @StJoHospice. Please donate 👇🏽 https://t.co/yUZkZ5lXDX

So many bad-faith attacks on Zack Polanski. His own partner works in palliative care! About a third of carers are migrants. Among other things, Labour has banned them from bringing their partners and kids here. Labour pretending to care about them is nauseating.

Second time a Labour minister misrepresents me today. Of course this isn't all being a care worker is and I would never want to imply that it is. But it is a part of it - and I repeat what I said: I'm really grateful to people who do this vital work wherever they're from.
Social care isn’t just ‘wiping someone’s bum’. It is a hard, rewarding, skilled professional job. That’s why we’re delivering the first ever fair pay agreement in social care and building a care profession. This is immigration as exploitation 👇🏻 https://t.co/6LqPHNXJer

Nobody expected the Greens to win the Questiontime immigration debate. I certainly didn't. I thought Zia would come out on top. It's all he ever talks about. But the fact is Zack got the most applause, and Zia got booed. That's why they're rattled.

Fuck looks like I'm registering to become a Green Party member.
“You are a government of cowards, because you won’t tell people the truth about migration” The Green Party’s Zack Polanski says society is “feeling broken” because of years of austerity, and “fair and managed” immigration is “a positive thing for the country” #bbcqt
