I was pointed towards Phil Mealey referencing my post on Instagram. That’s great. It’s so obvious how proud everyone involved with that show is. So they should be. They created a pure gem and the fact we’re all still hailing it and sharing memories 20+ years on says it all.
When they get shows about the working class right, it’s often a triumph. That’s how it was with Early Doors. Yes they bickered with each other and teased each other. They sometimes fell out. But deep down there was warmth and heart and goodness. There was solace. #EarlyDoors

We lost 3-0 yesterday. Marc Guehi a captain in every regard: not getting into his car until every fan had a pic, autograph, etc. Even grateful City fans getting involved. Was a sports reporter for 10+ years. A sports fan for 47. Never seen his like before. Exceptional. #cpfc ❤️💙

We were brilliant yesterday - the best 3-0 defeat I've seen (?!). Wharton and Kamada terrific. Just lobbing this out there: Chris Richards deserves a top chant. City fans: where was "Guardiola" (Glad All Over) and "Made Of Stone"?! Two faves from any away fans (IMHO). #cpfc ❤️💙
