I think we need to be talking more about the intersection of gastric disorders and eating disorders.
When people used to say โOh itโs just your eating disorderโ when I talked about my bowel issuesโฆ. I challenge anyone not to have disordered eating/an ED when you have an undiagnosed bowel prolapse, constantly fobbed off by specialists, and where food = agonyโฆ.

No. They are not medical students they are trainee clinical PSYCHOLOGISTS who work in the most ethnically diverse trust in the UK so it's pretty important to figure our how to help people FROM DIFFERENT ETHNICITIES. Right wing garbage.

real and LASTING change. Not tokenistic short term funding because t1de is in the press again. Change and the creation of a whole new discipline takes longer than what is currently on offer and I hope to see our leaders commit to no more preventable deaths by t1de. Anything less.

I feel their loss so keenly. Everyday. As does everyone who loved them and the shockingly countless others who died from t1de because the system wouldn't recognise that their t1 meant they required something different from standard eating disorder treatment. This has to result in.
