This is why you gotta respect players being mercenaries.
Vladimir Coufal and his wife Hana had tear-stained faces as they tried to digest the news they had not seen coming. Six months on from his release by West Ham United, and Coufal has not quite recovered from the events of May 8. It had been a routine morning — until he was

there's an epidemic of fake learning. duolingo, tiktok, youtube. it's all entertainment cleverly disguised as education. real learning is hard. it's uncomfortable. if it feels 'fun', you probably aren't learning anything.
My father has a 1200+ day Spanish streak on Duolingo. We went on holiday to Spain recently and he could hardly string two sentences together. What the fuck is the point of that app?

#ManCity are giving away hospitality packages for free today to club staff as it hasn’t sold, we understand. North Stand evictees at the Etihad Stadium have been told they have to move as there is a ‘waiting list’ for hospitality. It has NOT gone down well among supporters.

Used to be £30 for a shirt that was kept for 2 seasons, which often alternated with the away kit change. Now its £90 a shirt for 3 kits that change every season. Thats the biggest scandal, yet it doesn't get a mention. There's no reason clubs can't turn out shirts for £30.
What's the difference between a fake football shirt and a real one? 🤔 👕 Chloe Long, deputy director general at the Anti-Counterfeiting Group, explains.

Hilariously, TNT have purposely scrubbed Hoddle saying this from their YouTube upload but kept the main commentator in.

You can tell people are starting to believe! All the fairweathers dropping texts this morning “would be great to get to a game after Christmas”. I bet it would, you last went in 2018 😂

An increase of £31 billion in five years. The cost of working-age benefits warrants a review but WHEN is there going to be a discussion about the state pension & triple lock 🤷♀️ increasing state pension age and cutting salary sacrifice for younger people is an unfair trade-off.
Welfare spending on pensioners is forecast to increase from £161.2 billion this year, to £195.4 billion in 2030/31

Retirees with no mortgages get more above inflation handouts and special benefits on ISAs, while workers crippled by housing costs and marginal wage gains are punished. The stranglehold on our economy by its richest group, pension takers, must end if we are to get anywhere.
Hitting people saving for their pensions at a time when we’ll have to work longer knowing we’ll get less from the state is a special kind of stupid.

26.4k a year for minimum wage 40 hours a week. Teaching salary is 30k a year to start with. So you’re telling me I have to go to university for 4 years to then start off on a salary 3.6k more than someone who works at Tesco? That makes sense…
BREAKING: Millions of people earning minimum wage will get a pay rise next year, the government has announced. Read the full story 🔗 https://t.co/R8wBOwbjIr
