Yes that is another classic. To get rid of drilling waste mud with toxic fracking chemicals you blend it into soil so it is contaminated but not contaminated enough to breach an arbitrary limit and sell it in compost and soil. People like Santos giggle at that.

There needs to be a national inquiry into what is going into fertilisers & compost. Potentially toxic coal seam gas drilling muds are now classed as a 'resource' as opposed to waste, thanks to Qld Govt End of Waste Code. They are being allowed in compost with very little scrutiny
