In childbirth, pain is not valorized; pain is a tool. It helps the mom/birthing person sense transitions, complications, etc. You might not get "points" for not getting one, and I'm not villianizing the epidural either, but pain has a purpose in the birthing space.
You win zero points for not getting an epidural. (Clearly, if you DON'T one that should be respected too.) Why is childbirth the only medical procedure where we valorize pain? It's so ludicrous and we need to stop perpetuating this nonsense.

I learned from a creator maybe a year or two ago that vegan leather is absolutely not a sustainable alternative at all. In actuality, it's filling landfills more than it's fulfilling clothing needs.

I also think asking the actual victims what they think would be a proper consequence is a good option as well and also creating aftercare for the victims. Sending kids to jail doesn't make them feel safe and not traumatized, especially when it can still happen to them.

My dad just called me on Facebook messenger. May not be a big deal fr, but that was the first time HE has been able to call me himself since 2016. I always have to talk through my mom. My sister got him a tablet and now he's back on Facebook and calling us by himself 🥺❤️.
