For anyone that's trying to get into Tech and you're on the outside looking in and you don't know where to start, here's what I did. I listed my Top 25 Tech companies and went on their job boards and read every posting they had. I made note of what sounded interesting to me.

I asked this of a German friend that showed us around Berlin. He said that culturally speaking German kids are encouraged to learn how things work by taking them apart and putting them back together again. Which naturally helps kids build engineering skills from a young age.
