They're presented to us in a sales commercial in 5 min appointments that prioritize clinician efficiency. Not choice or understanding. Especially for marginalized folks.

IUDs are heavily marketed because they reduce patient visits and are reimbursed by insurance companies, which is why most people do not have full transparency about them. Informed consent can't be given.
