I'll say this too -- as an indie filmmaker with friends who are also indie filmmakers, it is literally the only way our films are being written about!

A million things to hate about the media landscape but for now I'm not worried about "the Letterboxd-ification of film criticism," as I saw one older critic put it. I think it's neat that the kids have an app where they're talking about, for example, The Piano Teacher (2001)

You are not ensouled if you use this scene for gender war content. This is a movie that believes in soulmates. My God. Nobody wants to love anymore.

My wife's favorite scene. Mary Hatch looks to be in her 30s, on a solid career path, making her own money, living her best life. And the worst possible thing has happened to her, according to Clarence. She...ISN'T MARRIED!!!

When the clock strikes midnight on January 1, creative works from 1930 & sound recordings from 1925 will enter the public domain in the US, like: 💄 Dizzy Dishes, the first appearance of Betty Boop 🔍 The first 4 Nancy Drew novels 🚂 The Little Engine That Could 🤡 Animal

You fools. You morons. The point isn’t that Mary is living a horrid life, but she’s living a half a life. George was afraid that he robbed Mary of a better, more rewarding life by marrying her, but the reveal is there was never any other option for her besides him.

I’ve cracked wordle If you play STAIR, LEMON, then PUDGY you optimize your letter usage among 15 of the most common letters with no repeats After that, you always have enough information to correctly guess the word on the fourth turn

Because work has become more precarious, less meaningful, and no longer reliably pays enough to live with dignity. These conditions are fundamentally depressing.

In case you didn't know... Both male & female Reindeer grow antlers, but males lose them in late Autumn. All Santa’s reindeer are therefore female, which means Rudolph is persistently misgendered.
