Before I knew all this, I voted for Article 50 and to leave, twice. We now need to say to MPs that the Referendum result was secured illegally and must be rerun.
I have written to Michael Gove asking for full disclosure of his knowledge of Vote Leave’s illegal payments. If he does not make disclosure, as Secretary of State responsible for data protection, he is breaking the Ministerial Code.
Met Commissioner Cressida Dick told
@LBC
today she must have a letter of complaint on lockdown parties in
@10DowningStreet
before deciding if there would be an investigation.
Labour MP
@coyleneil
has answered her request.
Perhaps we should all write to Cressida Dick?
Despite all this wrongdoing, Johnson, Gove and Cummings are running our country and are about to take us out of the EU on the basis of a referendum where offences were committed and 2 unresolved investigations are outstanding. (13)
Both Theresa May and Boris Johnson should be ashamed that, in the context of the Salisbury attacks, they blocked an investigation into Russian electoral interference.
Why is Fiona Bruce falsely saying Vote Leave did not break electoral law? I have repeatedly asked the BBC to report this fact, even this week, and they defend Vote Leave still.
I have written to the Prime Minister today to tell him he should instruct his special adviser, Dominic Cummings, to appear before
@commonsCMS
. I have many questions on
#TheGreatHack
You were too scared to answer questions from me on your knowledge of Vote Leave illegal payments. You were so scared you changed your Ministerial job description to avoid questions. Your silence on your knowledge speaks volumes.
Right Twitter, we are making progress. I am an MP till Wednesday. Can everyone retweet and pass this thread on so more know what Johnson, Gove and Cummings got up to with Vote Leave?
I have written to Michael Gove - the man now in charge of transparency in digital election campaigning in the UK - asking him when he was told about the £600k donation made by the Vote Leave campaign to BeLeave
#marr
- You were found to have broken the ministerial code, Boris Johnson is under investigation over the MC... does the ministerial code still matter?
Priti Patel - There's work taking place reviewing that.. this isn't about breaking codes.. we're doing very difficult jobs..
A further letter from me to Boris Johnson, detailing the actions of Dominic Cummings prior to the EU referendum. Mr Cummings needs to give evidence to the DCMS Select Committee
Boris Johnson appointed Cummings as his political adviser and has refused, as Prime Minister, to direct Dominic Cummings to give evidence to the Select Committee. He is, thereby, obstructing a Parliamentary Inquiry (10)
General Election is an opportunity to highlight role of Johnson, Gove and Cummings in the illegal Vote Leave campaign. A new Govt should hold them to account.
Still waiting for my
@BBCr4today
interview to detail how our Prime Minister and the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster have concealed their knowledge of Vote Leave electoral offences in 2016? Would they be happy to have those offences committed again in the General Election?
No reply from the Prime Minister to Cummings answering questions to Parliament concerning his role in Vote Leave, illegal payments and AIQ. Over a month and silence.
I have written to the Prime Minister today to tell him he should instruct his special adviser, Dominic Cummings, to appear before

What mystifies me here is that there has been virtually no BBC coverage of data breaches still being considered by the ICO into Vote Leave with Johnson, Gove and Cummings prominent. They now run the country.
You have ignored completely, across the BBC, the role of Johnson, Gove and Cummings in Vote Leave, their actions there, and how this now plays directly into current online Government policy and the General Election.
We have 2 pro-Brexit voices on tonight because the 2 big stories of the day - the court ruling and a Tory/Brexit Party pact- make these the best holding to account interviews to do over 30 minutes. We will, of course, hear the full range of views over the run.

A star is born - They say 'cometh the hour cometh the man' - listen to this brilliant Bishop Auckland farmer...
"On referendum night we went to bed as Great Britain and woke up as Little Britain"
Gove is the Secretary of State for the Cabinet Office, the department with conduct of the Electoral Integrity Bill. He must make public his role in the Vote Leave Campaign, which has committed offences and is subject to further investigations. (11)
Gove has admitted he knew of the payments giving rise to the electoral offences. He has refused to disclose to me the date he found out about them or who told him.(5)
Pleased that BBC is covering issue of interference. Johnson’s failure to address cyber and other threats from Russia is unpatriotic and a dereliction of his duty as Prime Minister to defend our democracy.
Farage’s income from media appearances, especially Russia Today, increased from £9,737 in 2012 to £548,573 in May 2018, paid to his company. More detail in
‘I have to challenge you there, in what way was Nigel Farage colluding with Putin?’
‘He was simply defending the positions of Russia…Every extreme right wing politician in Europe has one or other link with Russia.’
I have written to Michael Gove - the man now in charge of transparency in digital election campaigning in the UK - asking him when he was told about the £600k donation made by the Vote Leave campaign to BeLeave
10 cabinet ministers have taken Russian money. The real reason Johnson stopped the report being published and tried to impose his own committee chair. Democracy undermined with willing compliance of Johnson because his government are on the Kremlin’s payroll.
#RussianReport
I spoke in Parliament yesterday about Cummings’ law-breaking and the BBC ignore it. He speaks at a book launch and is top story. BBC failing in its duty to inform fully the public.
Gove now also denies that he has responsibility for electoral law and data protection in Government which was included in his job description when he was appointed in July. This is to avoid him breaching the Ministerial Code but is not credible. (12)
Vote Leave broke the law in 2016, accepted by Vote Leave itself. Evidence published by the Electoral Commission, (EC) - includes quotations from Dominic Cummings who encouraged the breaking of electoral spending limits in the final “crucial” days of 2016 campaign.(4)
I’m delighted that the
@metpoliceuk
have confirmed they won’t be acting on the allegations made against Darren Grimes and Alan Halsall by the
@ElectoralCommUK
. This proves that the wild allegations made against
@darrengrimes_
& Vote Leave since 2016 are completely baseless. (1/4)
Cummings has refused to give evidence to the DCMS Select Committee to explain his role in electoral offences. He was found to be in contempt of Parliament. (9)
I raised the facts of Johnson’s (and Cummings’) duplicity and misconduct again and again in the House of Commons in 2019 and was ignored by you,
@bbclaurak
and, incidentally,
@Peston
. Don’t pretend to be surprised now.
Extraordinary. Truly extraordinary. The Cabinet Secretary on his then boss
@BorisJohnson
during the pandemic : "He cannot lead & we cannot support him...Government isn't actually that hard but this guy is really making it impossible."
"I want to place on the record some information that I have concerning disinformation and the Government of the day."

(he’s currently in contempt of Parliament)
@IanCLucas
@DamianCollins
I will using every device I can to get Michael Gove to answer questions in Parliament on his knowledge of the facts giving rise to Vote Leave’s electoral offences in 2016.
Just remember
@IanCLucas
anything you have said (which is quite a lot) outside of parliamentary privilege, we will be going after you and anyone on that

MPs are not above the laws as you well know.
Facebook said: “The materials obtained by the DCMS committee are subject to a protective order of the San Mateo Superior Court restricting their disclosure. We have asked the DCMS committee to refrain from reviewing them and to return them to counsel or to Facebook.” Too late.
The issues I am talking about relate to Vote Leave which was the official 2016 campaign for the UK to leave the EU. Do not confuse them with issues, a separate campaign led by Farage and Banks. (2)
The DCMS Select Committee has asked for evidence held by the Electoral Commission relating to electoral offences to be disclosed to it. They have refused citing a current police investigation bein carried out by the Metropolitan Police (6)
In addition, there is a current, continuing investigation by the Information Commissioner into the possible illegal sharing of personal data in the 2016 campaign by Vote Leave and other ‘Leave” organisations. (7)
Johnson, Gove and Dominic Cummings were the central characters in the Vote Leave campaign as, respectively, Campaign Committee member, Co-Convenor of the Campaign Committee and Campaign Director. (3)
What makes sense now is to discuss the Withdrawal Bill in a 3 month extension period, have the various votes and make the decisions. To have a General Election now is not in the national interest.
He hates fuss but today is Dad’s last day as an MP after over 18yrs of dedication to Wrexham, the Labour Party & public service.
@IanCLucas
is quietly formidable. He has achieved so much & helped so many people over the years. He is also a wonderful father. I am so proud of him.
The data Investigation is based on information given to the DCMS Select Committee and includes evidence of apparent data sharing by Gove’s own 2016 Tory Leadership campaign website and Vote Leave. (8)
Now officially established beyond all doubt that THERE WAS A CROSS-OVER BETWEEN ARRON BANKS' INSURANCE BUSINESS, ELDON INSURANCE, and BANKS' POLITICAL ACTIVITIES WITH LEAVEEU, should the authorities now revisit the startling information revealed in this
@CommonsCMS
video?????
Here is Boris Johnson claiming there has been interference from Russia in UK elections, the position he maintained as Foreign Secretary. He now says there hasn’t. Which is true?
Now on 9.6 million views. Help drive it to 10 million tonight & send a message to

that if they won’t hold this truth twister to account we will do it ourselves
It is in outrage that the views of the Information Commissioner and Election Commissioner on the inadequacy of current election law are being ignored by the Tories. Cheating happened in 2016 and is happening again.
The Cabinet Office has today altered its website to suggest Gove does not have oversight of data protection and electoral reform. This contradicts what the site said yesterday. It is incredible what he will do to avoid questions on Vote Leave.
Before 2016, we had the best relationship with Ireland we had had for hundreds of years. Now, the Government is breaking agreements it made itself with Ireland, through the EU. A huge mistake.
Please watch this. The blocking of the Russia report is last in long line of profoundly disturbing actions govt has taken to prevent truth coming out. Listen to Dominic Grieve &
@IanCLucas
. Is there any way of describing this which isn’t a cover-up??
BREAKING: Rep. Adam Schiff on Trump impeachment report: "This report chronicles a scheme by the president of the United States to coerce an ally, Ukraine, that is at war with an adversary, Russia, into doing the president's political dirty work."
Electoral Commission tell
@CommonsCMS
that even if an election is won with the benefit of unlawful payments to a particular party, the result stands. Unbelievable.
If we had a functioning opposition, it would demand:
1) urgent overhaul of electoral law as top priority
2) demand govt insist Zuck comes to UK to give evidence
3) ban microtargeted political ads until FB can demonstrate safe
4) demand answers from Johnson re Vote Leave fraud

Gove is now in charge of elections and data. We know Vote Leave, of which he was campaign co-ordinator, broke election spending limits and await a determination from
@ICOnews
on whether they illegally shared data.
Online safety bill had few hours left to complete stages in commons, when in last days bfre recess, Labour pulled a cynical VONC in PM which meant it stalled before parl rose- as NSPCC state, leaving 3,500 children to be abused online every single day.
That statement from

saying it was impossible to visit an insurance call centre in Bristol, followed by the french TV interview with

in a call centre filled with insurance workers in Bristol working on Brexit. Judge for yourself.

@RhonddaBryant
calls for Arron Banks to be added to the sanctions list as an “agent of influence for the Russian state”.
Likewise Nigel Farage, who received £548,573 in 2018 alone from the Russian Govt funded Russia Today.

A stunning valedictory speech from
@IanCLucas
in which, using the actual words of Dominic Cummings, he reveals to a shocked House that the Prime Minister and Michael Gove have known of Vote Leave's illegality for over three years!
