We visited the
@ElectoralCommUK
yesterday as part of our Defending Democracy inquiry. We discussed issues of candidate intimidation during the local elections, the Commission's 2022 cyber-attack and the risk of foreign interference in the General Elections.
Today, we welcomed the Joint Committee on the National Security Strategy (JCNSS) to our office to discuss threats to our democracy and how we can tackle these. Look out for the Committee’s report on defending democracy when its published later this year to learn more.
