Eighteen months into a Labour government and still no media reform policy. The Prime Minister should honour his promise to meet the victims of illegal press activity. There was a corporate cover up and further crimes remain uninvestigated.

Did you ask him where and when he killed the dog? What happened afterwards? I have so many questions.
Exc: Independent MP Ayoub Khan has told @politicshome he was once forced to kill a dog with his hands to save the life of a baby: https://t.co/x21uQbKIx3

The unspeakable treacheries, their stamping out of mass uprising, their counterrevolutionary terror, their depredations and plunderingsâŚ.
Bold statement by @zarahsultana as she brings a large group of members outside Your Party conference and speaks against the expulsions.

Lord @KevinBrennanMP today gives the House of Lords a "sneak preview" of our This Music Report which reveals the astonishing impact of Brexit on our sector, as he urges Government to âprioritise sorting out the bureaucratic mess that Brexit has brought our touring musiciansâ.

Whatever the rights and wrongs of todayâs resignations, one thing is clear: Sir Robbie Gibb should never have been on the BBC Board. His old job as Director of Communications at Number 10 should have ruled him out, just as it would Alastair Campbell. He should resign too.
What has happened...what is happening at the BBC? In normal times you might be forgiven for dismissing that question as naval gazing by journalists who can't resist talking about themselves. In normal times I'd be inclined to agree with you. These, though, are not normal times.

To the best of my knowledge, I have never met nor spoken to this journalist from Rupert Murdochâs Times newspaper. His analysis is poor. His advice, ridiculous. His insults, low brow. I wonât be subscribing to his Substack nor allowing him to manufacture a row within Labour.
I'm now on Substack, explaining a little more about what I've written in The Times and the reading that informs it. Today: why Keir Starmer needs some fat men, the No 10 adviser who's actually doing a good job, and the best books on Brownism. https://t.co/TA6CzLKuBt

More stop and search powers wouldnât have stopped this train knife attack. What did make a difference was having a train manager present and going beyond the call of duty. All parties should now rule out plans to cut train managers.

Does the PM want his deputy bound by collective responsibility, defending Cabinet decisions? If so, give her a seat in the Cabinet. Or does he want her as an independent voice, free to say what she thinks? If thatâs the plan, fine, but donât complain when she speaks her mind.

Think about this for a minute or two. This is quite an extraordinary announcement.
Lab, Con & LibDems today all agreed the decision by Weds Mids police to ban the Jewish fans is wrong, disgraceful etc, but nothing they can do because âoperational independenceâ. Only Reform UK will change the law to put the police under the control of elected politicians.

I think this is one of the ugly faces of British racism. Theyâre football fans. Deal with them as football fans.
Thank you all who put the safety of Aston Villa fans, Birmingham residents snd the British public above the zionist and political pressure to let Israeli hooligans and terrorists run riot in our country.

A great night at UK Music and TikTokâs Conservative conference party, where the legendary Chesney Hawkes gave a stellar performance and called on MPs and policymakers to throw their weight behind our world leading industry. Check out the photo gallery here https://t.co/JnIx4YUIZu

Starting Labour conference with very important news about DJ sets by the deputy leadership candidates. Both had 30 minute slots at last nightâs LGBT Labour disco. Bridget Phillipson (who had a shot half way through) opened with Believe by Cher. Additional set list tracks
