You have to wait ~400yrs for this to happen again. The Total Solar Eclipse on April 8th, 2024. Evansville’s totality begins at 2:02pm CDT & ends at 2:05pm CDT. Areas near Vincennes/Mount Carmel will see totality for 4+ minutes. Expect temperatures to drop ~20° in totality.

Yesterday was the 98th anniversary of the infamous Tristate Tornado. The tornado lasted over 3hrs, killed 695, and injured over 2,000. 33 of those killed were at a school. Over 15K homes were destroyed, with 25% of Princeton Indiana & 100% of Griffin Indiana destroyed.
