TMC is a bad choice. TMC literally attacks both Congress and BJP violently. Heck, congress and BJP have a sort of understanding in Bengal.
BJP needs to have secret alliance with TMC, DMK, TRS and LDF to contain Congress. Congress should not be anywhere near power. Centre, State or Local body. They get 5 years in a state and do as much damage as possible knowing BJP can't undo it.
