No, he didn't. Dr. Singh's pumped a huge stimulus that artificially raised growth for exactly 1 year (2010) This caused runaway inflation, collapsed growth, destroyed economy which led to fall of UPA By 2014, Raghuram Rajan was proposing to print Rs 10,000 notes ... go check

False! Media told me that Raghuram Rajan predicted the 2008 crisis Why did Dr. Singh ignore the prediction? Either that, or there was no prediction and media made it up later to glorify UPA's beloved Raghuram Rajan. Both cannot be true at same time.
@AbhishBanerj Manmohan Singh did not predict the 2008 global crisis, but neither did the IMF, US Fed, or top economists worldwide. What mattered more: India stayed stable due to cautious banking rules and timely fiscal and monetary action.
