This really is a disgraceful performance at PMQs by Starmer. He just referred to a live court case and had to be admonished by The Speaker. Badenoch, Davey and Flynn all asked questions which needed to be answered calmly and with contrition. All he did was bluster and insult.

Is this pure ignorance? On the day Hamas admitted over 70% of casualties were men. No mention of the bigger atrocities in Iran. Or that the action was taken only in response to the evil of 7 October and to get the hostages back... Or is it something much more unpleasant
It is clear that Israel's ongoing actions in Gaza constitute a genocide. When governments avoid the term genocide, it is not because facts on the ground are unclear. It is because the implications are inconvenient. We must call it what it is and do all we can to stop it.

Keir Starmer is a good, decent man with public service running through his veins. He came into politics for all the right reasons. He’s defied the naysayers many time and he’ll do so again. He’s changing and renewing our country and has restored it’s reputation across the world.

Back from my visit to China with @Keir_Starmer feeling optimistic. We’ve secured billions of pounds of investment and export deals for the UK. Including tariffs halved on Scotch whisky. That’s investment that will be felt by communities across the country.
