Why isn’t there more arb trading among these markets to force odds to be relatively similar across platforms?

Polymarket has identified “Fredi9999”, the user who has bet ~$45 million on Trump. @Domahhhh was correct. He’s a french national with “extensive trading experience” and is not “manipulating” the market. He is just truly accumulating a massive position.

Without Munger, makes sense that $BRKB sold so much $AAPL. Recall that Buffett couldn’t help but sell a bit a few years back and Munger was more of the never-sell type on that gargantuan position

Wish Bloomberg would list the employers of the “Other Participants” in its call transcripts. Seems easy enough to do and would be nice to see at first glance who participated on the call @business

really interesting article from NASA before it potentially gets removed or edited at some point: https://t.co/nbkwbr353q “The huge amount of water vapor hurled into the atmosphere, as detected by NASA’s Microwave Limb Sounder, could end up temporarily warming Earth’s surface.”

USESTEMP at 2,972k is not pretty and also not ugly Will be very telling to see whether this metric plateaus in the 2,900 context or falls off a la 2008

Not a new concept, but with latest data released on 7/27, begs the question: when do higher interest rates crowd out productive investment due to higher interest burden forcing reduced government expenditures and/or increased taxes?
